When Do You Get Your Results?

Once your lab work is complete, the results are sent to your Cumming Family Medicine provider for review. You’ll receive your results through our patient portal or by phone, depending on the test and your communication preferences.

Timing can vary based on the type of diagnostic testing performed and whether samples are processed on-site or by a partner laboratory. 

After reviewing your results, your provider will explain what they mean, discuss next steps if needed, and answer any questions.
